Hello everyone,
Today I'm posting Tom Yum Kha-moo. It's a soup recipe and can be serve spicy or not spicy according to your taste. Just don't over do it.
Ingredients :
1.4 pork hocks. (It can be substitute with pork ribs, or pork butt.)
2.1/2 gallon of water.
3.2 stalks of lemon-glass cut 2 inches long.
4.6 kaffir lime leaves.
5.4 slices of galanga.
6.2 smashed shallots
7.1 Tbsp. of fish sauce.
8.1 Tbsp. of salt.
9.1 Tbsp. of soy sauce.
10.1 Tbsp. of chopped chilli pepper.
11. 2 Tbsp. lime juice.
12. 1/2 cup cilantro (cut 1 1/2 inches long)
13. 1/2 cup green onion ( cut 1 1/2 inches long)
Directions :
1. In a crock pot, put in water, pork hocks, lemon glass, kaffir lime leaves, galanga, shallots, salt and soy sauce.
2. Set crock pot on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
3. When the pork is tender put in a bowl, add fish sauce, lime juice and chili pepper to your taste. If you don't like spicy put less chili pepper. Garnish with cilantro and green onion.
4. Serve with cooked white rice. Enjoy!
PS. If you don't have crock pot, you can use a regular pot and stove top.
